1 dead in house fire in Menahga, Minn.
MENAHGA, Minn. (FOX 9) - One person died in a house fire in a northern Minnesota Wednesday evening.
Around 10:30 p.m., police were called to a home on the 600 block of 2nd Street Southeast in Menagha. When they arrived, the house was fully engulfed.
It took nearly three hours to extinguish the fire, according to the Menagha Police Department. While they were extinguishing the fire, crews found a body inside in home.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
