1 injured in crash with semi in Lakeville

(KMSP) - A man was injured when his car collided with a semi's tractor-trailer in Lakeville on Saturday.

According to Lakeville Police, a 53-year-old Minneapolis man was driving his Ford Escape into the intersection of County Road 70 and Grenada Avenue, when he crossed the center line and hit the semi.

He was extricated from the vehicle, and flown to HCMC.

County Road 70 was shut down for several hours following the crash. The driver of the semi was not injured.
