Arson investigators offering reward for information about fire set in Nicollet Mall store
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KMSP) - Minneapolis Police are offering reward money for information regarding a fire at a Nicollet Mall retailer July 15.
Arson investigators with the department are looking for an adult female who they say intentionally set a fire at 600 Nicollet Mall.
Security camera footage from the day of the incident shows the woman was only in the store for two minutes. Footage clearly shows her setting a clothing rack on fire between 11:30 a.m. and noon.
An employee at the store put out the fire. The total damage has grown to more than $550,000.
Minneapolis Police are offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest. To submit a tip, call the Arson Reward Tip Line at 1-800-723-2020.
