The Chisago County sheriff's office is the latest group in Minnesota to have rescued ducklings from a storm drain.

Around 10 a.m. Sunday, the North Branch police department received a report about baby ducks stuck in a storm drain. According to a Chisago County Facebook post, crew from the Chisago County sheriff's office, Minnesota State Patrol, Department of Natural Resources, North Branch Police Department and North Branch Public Works gathered together to save 11 ducklings from the storm drain.

Unfortunately one casualty was sustained during the operation.

The duckling's mother was waiting in the area during the operation, and all ducklings were released at a nearby pond.
