Gun shop in Lakeville rammed with SUV, handguns stolen (VIDEO)
LAKEVILLE, Minn. (KMSP) - Police in Lakeville, Minnesota have released surveillance video from a gun store burglary in which the suspects rammed an SUV through the back of the building to get inside and steal multiple handguns.
According to Lakeville police, the burglary occurred Friday morning, Aug. 3, at Dakota Custom Guns, located at 17400 Kenwood Trail in northern Lakeville. The burglars used a Ford Flex to ram the back of the building to gain access.
The Ford Flex used in the burglary is distinctive, as it was driving on a spare tire on the front right (passenger side) of the vehicle. The black rim is different from the other three. The car also has damage to the front left side fender. There may be more damage to the front and rear of the car.
The suspects in the case both disguised their appearance by wearing hoodies. One suspect appears to be tall, approximately 6’5'', wearing jeans that were cropped or rolled up on one leg. The suspect is also wearing distinct red shoes. The other suspect is approximately 5’8 with a slim build.
