Fire destroys a home in Plymouth

A woman and her dog were able to escape the fire. Officials believe the home was completely destroyed.

PLYMOUTH. Minn. (FOX 9) - Firefighters from eight departments battled a house fire on Medicine Lake in Plymouth Wednesday night.

Officials say the fire started just before 11 p.m. inside a house on Medicine Lake Drive.

A woman inside was able to get out safely with her dog.

The home was in a difficult location for firefighters to get to. Crews believe the house could be a total loss.
