Gunshot victim who died at HCMC ID'd, location of shooting remains mystery
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified the man who died of gunshot wounds at the hospital last week.
On Wednesday, Nov. 15 around 11:25 p.m., Johnnie Cephus Fenn Jr., 38, of Troy, Alabama was brought to Hennepin Healthcare by private car. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Fenn died at the hospital. His death has been ruled a homicide.
The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating the shooting, although they do not yet know where it took place. The initial report said investigators believe it may have occurred around 11 p.m. somewhere in the Webber-Camden neighborhood.
