Highway 41 in Chaska to close Friday due to flooding
CHASKA, Minn. (FOX 9) - Rising flood waters are prompting road and bridge closures across southwest Minnesota, including parts of Carver and Scott counties. Several roads have already closed, while Highway 41 will be closed Friday morning.
The bridge at County Road 11/Jonathan Carver Parkway and CR 9 (Scott County) at the Minnesota River crossing has closed.
Highway 123 between Watertown and Mayer will also be closed due to flooding. During the closure, drivers won't be able to travel north of Highway 7 on Highway 123. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes, such as Highway 25 or Highway 21.
Additionally, Highway 41 in Chaska will close at 9 a.m. Friday due to flooding conditions on the Minnesota River. During the closure, drivers won't be able to travel between Highway 169 and the city of Chaska using Highway 41. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate river crossings, such as Highway 101 in Shakopee.
