How to get your own Stranger Things Brontosaurus hoodie
ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - Now you can have your very own sweatshirt to fight the Upside Down.
The 1980s-era sweatshirt hoodie from the Science Museum of Minnesota that made an appearance on the Netflix show Stranger Things will be available to purchase Tuesday morning.
On the show, Dustin Henderson wears the purple hoodie which depicts the skeleton of a Brontosaurus with words "Thunder Lizard." Since the show's second season premiered, the museum has been inundated with calls from fans asking for the sweatshirt.
Starting at 8 a.m. the Brontosaurus hoodie will be available to buy online at smm.org/strangerthings. As of 4 p.m., fans had bought more than 10,000 units and more than $400,000 worth of clothing.
A limited amount of sweatshirts will be available at the museum's Explore Store. The museum will have a pre-sale for Supporting Members from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Public sale begins at 9:30 a.m. There will be a limit of two sweatshirts per customer in the museum. There is not a limit for online orders.
Hoodies, crewnecks and t-shirts in adult and children's sizes will be available to buy. Prices will range from $15 to $40 depending on style.
Update (Tuesday 9:20 a.m.): Due to the demand for online orders, the museum is reporting the website is slow, but there is an unlimited supply of the apparel.
