Man dies at house in Maple Grove, sheriff's office investigating
MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (FOX 9) - The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a man who suffered an apparent heart attack at a home in Maple Grove early Wednesday morning.
At 4:50 a.m., officers with the Maple Grove Police Department responded to a 911 call in the 14000 block of 92nd Avenue North. When they arrived, they found a man at the house who did not live there.
A short time later, the man went unresponsive due to an apparent "medical event," according to the sheriff's office. Maple Grove police said it was an apparent cardiac arrest.
A North Memorial ambulance responded and the man was eventually pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death at the request of the Maple Grove Police Department. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will identify the victim and release the cause of his death.
