Man dies in wrong-way crash on Highway 7 in Minnetonka, Minn.

A 68-year-old man has died after a crash involving a wrong-way driver in Minnetonka, Minnesota.

According to Minnetonka police, around 11 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a crash on Highway 7 at Vine Hill Road. Authorities said one of the drivers was going the wrong way on Highway 7. The driver of the SUV is a 37-year-old man from Edina, who sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The other driver, identified as 68-year-old Michael Barlow of Excelsior, died at the hospital.

According to the report, Barlow died of multiple blunt force injuries. Minnetonka Police are investigating the incident. 

Authorities closed off the section of Highway 7 for several hours following the crash.
