Missing woman's truck found in Babbitt area

LAKE COUNTY, Minn. (KMSP) - A truck belonging to a missing Grand Rapids, Minn. woman has been found in Lake County, south east of Babbitt, according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

While investigators have found her truck, 30-year-old Tawhna Jolee Pringle is still missing.

Pringle was last seen on Jan. 6 in Floodwood, Minn. She has not contacted anyone since then, which is out of character for her. Investigators believe Pringle was in the Babbitt area on Jan. 11.

Pringle is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and about 135 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes.

Authorities are asking people in the area to check their properties or trails for her vehicle or signs of a person searching for shelter.
