Person drowns in Lake Marion in Lakeville Sunday

LAKEVILLE, Minn. (FOX 9) - A 28-year-old man drowned in Lake Marion in Lakeville Sunday.

According to the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office, at about 7:42 p.m., authorities responded to a missing person report on Lake Marion. Witnesses said a man had been missing for about two hours and was last seen on an inflatable device near Antlers Park Beach.

Officials searched and eventually located the man's body at about 8:47 p.m.
