Police: Man dies after fight at Cub Foods in Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - A man died following a fight outside Cub Foods in south Minneapolis Tuesday evening.
At 10:15 p.m., officers responded to a fight between two men at the grocery store at 2850 26th Avenue South, according to Minneapolis Police Department spokesperson John Elder. Upon arrival, they found one man critically injured in the parking lot. He later died at the hospital.
A second man was taken into custody. He has been booked into the Hennepin County Jail for probable cause homicide.
Investigators believe the two men were fighting both inside and outside the store before officers arrived. No weapons are believed to be involved.
The incident remains under investigation.
