Sheriff: Blueberry Pines Golf Club likely total loss after fire
MENAHGA, Minn. (FOX 9) - A popular golf course in northern Minnesota is believed to be a total loss after a fire Wednesday afternoon.
The fire started shortly before 4 p.m. at the Blueberry Pines Golf Club in Menahga. According to the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office, flames were already visible from the building when first responders arrived.
Several fire departments responded to provide mutual aid.
The fire lasted for several hours. The sheriff’s office said the building is likely a total loss.
No one was injured in the fire.
The fire remains under investigation and the Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office has been notified.
