Former St. Kate's student in custody after setting campus fires
ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - One former student is custody following a series of small arson fires on campus, a St. Catherine's University official confirms.
The fire department was called to the St. Paul campus at 11:39 a.m. The fires were found in Coeur De Catherine, Derham Hall, the Chapel, Fontbonne Hall, Mendall Hall, the Butler Center for Sports and Fitness and Saint Mary Hall, according to St. Catherine University.
The fires had been contained by 12:52 p.m.
No one was injured as a result of the fires. The investigation into the fires is ongoing.
