Police are looking for 56-year-old Lois Riess as a person of interest in her husband's murder.

A search for a Minnesota woman suspected in the murder of her husband has led investigators to Florida.

Authorities began looking for 56-year-old Lois Riess of Blooming Prairie last month after her husband, David Riess, was found murdered from multiple gunshot wounds.

This week, officials found the vehicle she was believed to be driving abandoned in Florida. They now believe Riess is driving a stolen white 2005 Acura TL with Florida license plate Y37TAA.

Dodge County Sheriff's officials say Riess also may have illegally transferred close to $10,000 from a bank account dedicated to her husband's business to another of his personal accounts before forging his signature on three checks totaling $11,000.

Investigators say they consider Riess to be armed and dangerous.

Second degree murder charges are pending at the Dodge County Attorney's Office.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dodge County Sheriff's Office at (507)635-6200.
