Victims identified in double murder at Minneapolis apartment

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified the two women who were shot to death in an apartment complex in Minneapolis Saturday night. 

The victims are Jennifer Angerhoffer, 42, of Coon Rapids, and Eileen Mark, 67, of Minneapolis. 

The two women were found around 10:30 p.m. after police officers responded to a report of gunshots heard at an apartment on the 300 block of 2nd Avenue Southeast in the Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood. The suspect, or suspects, had already fled the scene. 

Angerhoffer died of gunshot wounds to the face and neck and Mark died of a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the medical examiner. Their deaths are being investigated as homicides.

According to the Holmes Park Apartment website, the complex is a seven-story, 77-unit Section 8 housing for seniors and disabled people.
