1 arrested for shooting death of woman at Minneapolis bus stop

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minneapolis police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting death that occurred near a bus shelter at East Lake Street and Park Avenue on Tuesday evening.
Minneapolis police said a woman has died after an apparent dispute that prompted gunfire near a bus shelter at East Lake Street and Park Avenue on Tuesday evening.
Police said shortly before 7 p.m., they found Jessica St. Marie suffering multiple gunshot wounds and she was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in critical condition, where she later died.
Preliminary investigation indicated a dispute occurred between the woman and Gerald Cepeda, 50, who fled the scene. Police arrested Cepeda on Saturday morning in south Minneapolis.
Cepeda has been booked into the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center for probable cause murder.
