1 dead in shooting on St. Paul's North End

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - One person is dead after a shooting on the north side of St. Paul, Minnesota late Tuesday night. 

Officers responded to a report of shots fired on the 300 block of Burgess Street around 10:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found evidence of a shooting, but no victims.

A victim was later located at Regions Hospital. Staff tried him for a gunshot wound, but he was pronounced dead.

The identity and cause of death of the victim have not be released.

The shooting remains under investigation.

This is St. Paul’s 10th homicide this year.
