$1 million lottery ticket sold in Blaine on New Year’s Eve
BLAINE, Minn. (FOX 9) - If a new year’s resolution was financial stability, one lucky lottery player will have a better chance at accomplishing their goals after a winning Mega Millions ticket was sold in Blaine on New Year’s Eve.

What we know: The winning ticket was purchased at Cub Foods located at 585 Northtown Drive in Blaine, with the winning numbers being 13-22-27-29-35. The Mega Ball number was 1.
But you might never know who won.
In Minnesota, the names and cities of lottery winners of more than $10,000 are private. Unless the winner chooses, their info will not be released.
However, lottery prizes above $50,000 need to be claimed in person at the Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville. Prizes of $50,000 and below can be claimed by mail or at any regional office.
