1 seriously injured in sideswipe crash on Lyndale Ave. N.

A sideswipe crash in Minneapolis left one person with serious injuries and forced part of Lyndale Avenue North to close for several hours early Tuesday morning.

The crash happened at about 2:55 a.m. on the 2500 block of Lyndale Avenue North and 15th Avenue and left one person with serious injuries and another person with non-life-threatening injuries. It’s unknown what caused the crash and if alcohol was a factor.

Lyndale Avenue North in both directions between 24th and 26th avenues reopened just after 7:30 a.m.
