2 dead after head-on crash in Scandia, Minnesota

SCANDIA, Minn. (FOX 9) - Two people are dead after a head-on crash in Washington County Thursday night. 

The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Olinda Trail North just north of 170th Street North in Scandia. 
 
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found both vehicles on the road and tried to save the lives of the drivers, but they were both pronounced dead at the scene. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
