ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - St. Paul police are investigating a deadly double shooting outside the Midway Motel on Tuesday night.
Police said two men were shot and killed in the motel parking lot at 901 N. Snelling Avenue. Police were called around 9:30 p.m., but both victims were pronounced dead after paramedics attempted to revive them. No arrests had been made by Wednesday morning, but police do not believe the shootings were random.
"We're still very early on in this investigation, and as you can imagine, we have a lot of witnesses to interview and a lot of things to follow up on so at this point, it's unknown what exactly we have,” St. Paul Police Sgt. Mike Ernster said.
The city has now seen three homicides this year.
