MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Black Lives Matter-Minneapolis and Justice for Jamar Clark protesters blocked traffic near Target Field during the Twins home opener Monday around 3 p.m. Metro Transit police confirmed they made 25 arrests.
Blue and Green Line trains were unable to serve Target Field Station for about 90 minutes due to the blocked train tracks. Service was resumed to Target Field around 4:30 p.m.

"We want #Justice4Jamar, your baseball game can wait!" Black Lives Matter-Minneapolis tweeted around 2:40 p.m. They also said, "@Target we want you to end slave labor at Target Field NOW"
According to Metro Transit police, the 25 demonstrators were taken into custody for trespassing and interfering with public transportation. They were then transported over to Hennepin County jail.
Metro Transit police spokesperson Drew Kerr said they issued three audible warnings, telling protesters if they didn't move from the tracks that arrests would be made.
Minneapolis police spokesman John Elder said their department was not involved in making any arrests.
