Minneapolis police have arrested 3 people in connection with the deadly stabbing of a woman found at the Ramp A parking garage Thursday morning. Ivory Andis, 21, was arrested Thursday night in south Minneapolis and booked into jail for murder.
Two other people – 23-year-old Tylor Jorgensen and 44-year-old Andre Parker – were arrested for aiding and abetting.
Minneapolis police said two women got into a fight around 5:08 a.m. and one of the women eventually stabbed the other in the neck at the transit hub at 101 9th Street North, just off Interstate 394. She had already been stabbed when police arrived and was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Police said it is important to note that this was not a random act of violence, but rather a fight between people who knew each other. Police also clarified that the victim in this case was found in a downtown parking ramp, but the stabbing has no connection to the ramp whatsoever.
