3 found dead inside home in Andover in apparent murder-suicide
ANDOVER, Minn. (KMSP) - Three people were found dead inside a home in Andover, Minn., Wednesday night, in what police are calling a murder-suicide.
Authorities say it appears 27-year-old Aaron Regnier shot his parents, 69-year-old Karen Regnier and 58-year-old Brian Regnier.
Deputies responded to a home on the 900 block of 139th Ave around 7 p.m. Wednesday after a neighbor had called requesting a welfare check because the residents had not been seen or heard from for a couple of days, according to the Anoka County sheriff's office.
No one answered the door, but authorities did discover an unlocked door. Inside, the three adults were found dead from gunshot wounds, with the Anoka County Sheriff's Office confirming that all of themwere residents in the home.
The cause and manner of death will be released by the Anoka County Medical Examiner's Office.
