A 4-year-old child with autism was rescued from the Zumbro River Sunday in Rochester, Minnesota.

According to Rochester Police, officials received a call at about 2:43 p.m. from someone along a bike trail who spotted a child in the river.

Shortly after the call, authorities got a call from the child's father who said the boy was playing at Soldier's Field Park when he ran off.
