LA CRESCENT, Minn. (KMSP) - A family of 8, murdered at their home in Houston, Texas earlier this month, will be buried together in the town of La Crescent, Minnesota more than 1,200 miles away.
Why Minnesota?
Pastor Gregg Nelson of United Methodist Church says the funeral service and burial, scheduled for Thursday afternoon, will be held in La Crescent because the last surviving sibling lives there. Hundreds of mourners are expected at Thursday’s services, including extended family from the Chicago area.
