Authorities are responding to a fire in a private hangar at the Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Blaine, Minnesota.

According to the Blaine Police Department, the fire started around 7 p.m. No one was inside at the time, and no injuries have been reported.

Crews are working to determine the cause of the fire. Fox 9 will have more information as it becomes available.

One witness said he was about to leave the airport when the fire started.

"I was just about to take off to fly out to Cambridge and I look off to my right and the hangars on fire and smoking," one witness said. "I sat there for about 10 minutes while people were calling police and next thing you know the roof blew in and you could see the flames blowing off the top. You could see it from all the way in Cambridge."

"It's a really nice hangar, that's a lot of insurance money. You don't see this every day," he said.
