Authorities respond to possible child drowning in Edina, Minn.

EDINA, Minn. (KMSP) - Authorities responded to a call about a possible drowning on the 4500 block of Valley View Road in Edina Saturday afternoon. 

The Edina Police Department and the Hennepin County sheriff’s department responded to the 911 call. 

A child was transported to an area hospital, authorities said. The child’s condition is unknown. 

The investigation is ongoing.
