Teen dirt bike rider dies after crash with pickup truck in Blaine
BLAINE, Minn. (FOX 9) - A teenager riding a dirt bike in Blaine Sunday evening died after colliding with a pickup truck.

What we know:
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office said the collision happened around 6 p.m. on Sunday near the intersection of 103rd Lane Northeast and Sunset Avenue Northeast in Blaine, according to a press release.
The preliminary investigation suggests a teenage boy was riding a motorized dirt bike on Sunset Avenue Northeast when he collided with the driver of a pickup truck who was turning onto the same road.
First responders arrived on the scene and attempted lifesaving measures, but the teenager was pronounced dead. The pickup driver and his passenger were not injured in the collision.
What we don't know:
The sheriff’s office did not provide further details about the victim or circumstances of the crash. The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of the victim's death.
The crash remains under investigation by the Blaine Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol and the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
