Bloomington police officer saves owl stuck in car's grill

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (KMSP) - A Bloomington police officer came to the rescue Monday after an owl was hit by a car on Interstate 494 and became lodged in the grill. Unfortunately, the owl died of its injuries.

Officer George arrived and was able to free the owl, the department shared on Twitter. The owl suffered minor injuries and was transported to the Raptor Center where it later died.
