ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - Authorities in St. Paul, Minn. are investigating a possible drowning on the Mississippi River near Shepard Road early Saturday morning.
Rescue crews were called to the scene just before 1 a.m. after a boater told them his friend went overboard. The Ramsey County sheriff’s office, the Dakota County sheriff’s office and St. Paul police searched the river for hours but were unable to locate the victim.
A sheriff’s official said the person who went overboard was not wearing a life jacket. The search resumed Saturday at 10 a.m.
