(KMSP) - Bruce Grant, a son of former Vikings coach Bud Grant, passed away Tuesday morning after a long fight with brain cancer, according to the Caring Bridge page managed by family.
Grant, 57, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, last May.
According to the site, his largest tumor was successfully removed with surgery, but other tumors remained along with other related conditions.
Bruce Grant was a quarterback at the University of Minnesota-Duluth from 1980-83.
