Burglary suspect attempts break-in while carrying small dog

CLEMSON, S.C. - South Carolina released an unusual video Friday that showed a burglary suspect trying to enter a Clemson home while carrying a small dog. 

Officers said they got a 911 call "from a homeowner who observed a subject on their video surveillance system attempting to enter their house."

"The subject walked up to a rear door, attempted to open it and then walked away," the caller added. 

When officers arrived, they found another nearby house that had been entered; however, they couldn't find the suspect. 

"The suspect is a white female, brown or red hair, last seen wearing a brown tank top, blue jeans, brown boots, white Clemson baseball cap, latex-type gloves, and carrying a small dog," police added.
