Burst pipe causes flooding at Bloomington hotel

Authorities in Bloomington, Minnesota are responding to a number of reports of broken pipes as the weather warms up.

After this week's incredibly cold temperatures, homeowners and businesses across the Twin Cities metro are reporting more and more pipes bursting.

According to the Bloomington Fire Department, by 9:30 a.m. Saturday, crews had already been to several locations, including a hotel that reported six inches of water on the first floor.
