KMSP - Much of the state of Minnesota just experienced its coldest morning in the month of December since the day after Christmas in 1996. The average temperature for the entire state at one point Sunday morning was -26°! I think that would have any other state quaking in its boots. But for us Minnesotans, it’s just another day. That being said, the metro officially hit -20° for the first time in about 3 years, dating back to January 2014.
