Eden Prairie tops list of Minnesota places to live, clocks in at No. 15 in America

Eden Prairie is the best place to live in Minnesota, according to a new ranking published by Niche, a Pittsburg-based website specializing in neighborhood and city data aggregation. 

The rankings, which include 228 cities across the country, put Eden Prairie at No. 15--with Edina at No. 33 and Chanhassen at No. 58.

The top five best places to live in Minnesota are as follows:

  1. Eden Prairie 
  2. Edina
  3. Chanhassen
  4. Falcon Heights
  5. Deephaven

Niche listed the high quality of Eden Prairie's public schools, the relatively low cost of real estate and high employment rate as key factors in its high rating, among many other things. 

73 percent of reviewers on the website responded that Eden Prairie was either "very good" or "excellent," landing the city with four out of five stars.

The city's only C rating came in the "Weather" category--which shouldn't come as a surprise for any Minnesotan.
