3 killed in head-on crash in Crow Wing County during snowy conditions
GARRISON TOWNSHIP, Minn. (FOX 9) - Three people died, and another was injured after a head-on crash amid snowy and icy conditions in Crow Wing County Sunday afternoon.

What we know:
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, around 12:40 p.m. a man driving a truck southbound on Highway 169 near Channel Drive, on the western side of Mille Lacs Lake in Garrison Township. The truck then crossed into northbound traffic, hitting an SUV head-on.
Both the driver and the passenger of the truck died in the crash. They were identified by authorities as 59-year-old Lee William Page and 59-year-old Lisa Marie Brunes.
Authorities say the driver of the SUV, a 53-year-old man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. But, the passenger of the SUV, identified as 51-year-old Kari Sue Hohansee, died in the crash.
The road conditions at the time of the crash were snowy and icy, State Patrol said.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that between noon on Saturday and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday there were 188 property damage crashes across the state, 25 injuries, 85 vehicles off the road, 10 vehicles off the road, 10 vehicle spin outs and three jackknifed semis.
