Fix-It Clinics reduce waste, give new life to broken stuff

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - If you have something around your house that's broken, odds are Gary Bank and Howard Freeman can help you fix it. About once a month, Gary, Howard and other fix-it folks offer their expertise at what they call Fix-It Clinics around the metro.

If you bring in your broken something, like an old vacuum cleaner, you better be ready to help. No matter what it is, they'll at least try to fix it.
