A spider looming over the city of Duluth may have been an optical illusion, says MnDOT. (MnDOT / FOX 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul)
DULUTH, Minn. (FOX 9) - A spider on a traffic camera Thursday morning created the illusion that the city of Duluth was under attack by a giant arachnid.
The photo, posted just after sunrise Thursday, shows the silhouette of the spider over Lake Superior as it appears to be descending on the city.
In a tweet, MnDOT Traffic conceded that “it may be an optical illusion," as the spider crawled across one of its traffic cameras.
