ALBERT LEA, Minn. (FOX 9) - As strong winds and snow create difficult travel conditions, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is closing I-90 in western Minnesota.
Interstate 90 west of Interstate 35 at Albert Lea will be closing again at 2 p.m. I-90 remains open to the east from Albert Lea to Wisconsin.
MnDOT says blowing snow and poor visibility are making travel difficult. It's unclear when the interstate highway will reopen.
