Jim Gaffigan to record Minneapolis shows for Netflix special

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Comedian Jim Gaffigan's performances this weekend in Minneapolis will be recorded for an upcoming Netflix special.

Gaffigan is set to perform five shows starting Thursday at the historic State Theatre on Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis as part of his "The Fun Tour" swing. The shows will feature all-new material for what will be the stand-up comedian's seventh special on Netflix.

Gaffigan will perform one show on Thursday, and two show each on Friday and Saturday nights.

Tickets for the shows start at $49.75 each. The State Theatre requires guests to show proof of vaccination with a photo ID or a recent negative test.
