Kemps debuts purple ice cream for Vikings-Saints bet between Klobuchar, Kennedy
(KMSP) - Senator Amy Klobuchar asked Kemps to help in a little bet between her and Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana.
So, on Thursday, the dairy company fast-tracked their first-ever, hand-made Purple Power ice cream.
According to a release, if the Vikings won against the Saints, Sen. Kennedy would deliver a Louisiana King Cake to Klobuchar. And, if the Vikings lost, Klobuchar would deliver the special ice cream to Kennedy in Washington.
Now that the Vikings won, however, Klobuchar is still sending them ice cream.
The Purple Power Ice Cream is purple-colored vanilla ice cream filled with little chocolate footballs.
Kemps has also launched a Purple Power flavored milk to get in the spirit.
