Lay’s is releasing eight new potato chip flavors, including one that will supposedly taste like fried pickles with a side of ranch.
The company says the eight flavors are regionally inspired and will be in grocery stores from July 30th through September 23rd.
The new flavors are:
Cajun Spice: Inspired by the flavors of the Gulf Coast, and the flavor celebration will take place at the Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival in Morgan City, La., from August 31 – September 2.
Chili Con Queso: Inspired by the Tex-Mex of the Southwest. The flavor celebration will take place at the Houston Food Fest on August 18.
Chesapeake Bay Crab Spice: Inspired by the Atlantic. The flavor celebration will take place at Chesapeake Crab & Beer Festival in National Harbor, Md., on August 18.
Deep Dish Pizza: Inspired by the Midwest. The flavor celebration will take place at Navy Pier in Chicago, Ill., on August 11.
Fried Pickles with Ranch: Another Midwest inspiration. The flavor celebration will take place at Missouri State Fair in Sedalia, Mo., from August 16 – 18.
New England Lobster Roll: Obviously inspired by the Northeast. The flavor celebration will take place at Maine Lobster Festival in Rockland, Maine, from August 1 – 5.
Pimento Cheese: Inspired by “Sunday socials” and the southern charm. The flavor celebration will take place at Shrimp & Grits Festival at Jeckyll Island, Ga., from September 14 – 16.
Thai Sweet Chili: Inspired by the Pacific Northwest. The flavor celebration will take place at Bite of Seattle from July 20 – 22.
Lay’s is also bringing back favorites from past years, including West Coast Truffle Fries in the west, Lay’s Ketchup in the northeast and Lay’s Wavy Fried Green Tomato in the Southeast.
