Mahtomedi chlorine leak causes evacuation of nearby homes
MAHTOMEDI, Minn. (FOX 9) - Three homes were evacuated after a reported chlorine leak at Hallam Park in Mahtomedi.

What we know:
The Mahtomedi Fire Department said public works employees called its firefighters to a chlorine leak at Hallam Park around 10 a.m. on Friday. St. Paul Fire Department's hazmat team also responded.
Firefighters then evacuated three homes, which reportedly held between four and six people as well as some pets, according to the fire department.
The St. Paul hazmat team then "mitigated the situation" before public works employees took over the scene around 11:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported, but one public works employee was evaluated at the scene. That employee was reportedly self-transported to the hospital following the incident.
