Mail, packages destroyed after semi traveling from Twin Cities catches fire
ST. CROIX CO., Wis. - A semi-truck carrying USPS mail and packages from the Twin Cities distribution center to Chicago caught fire while driving along I-94 near Hudson, Wisconsin on Tuesday morning.
USPS confirmed all of the mail on board was destroyed by the fire.
The truck may have also contained some first-class mail.
USPS said customers who think they may have had packages on the truck should track their items using USPS’s website.
