Minneapolis PD makes arrest after Thursday night shooting
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KMSP) - The Minneapolis Police arrested Jamar Mullins in relation to a Thursday night shooting in North Minneapolis.
Mullins was booked into the Hennepin Adult Detention Center on probable cause murder.
The incident occurred on the 100 block of Morgan Avenue North around 8:10 p.m Thursday.
At the time, officers responded to the area and attempted to revive a man found with gunshot wounds. The victim died at the scene.
According to a preliminary investigation, the suspect and victim knew each other.
The investigation is ongoing. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Lonzo Allen Washington of Minneapolis.
