Minneapolis police officers rescue kitten caught in rainstorm

On a record-rainfall day in the Twin Cities, Minneapolis police rescued a kitten caught in the rainstorm at Lake Street and 17th Avenue South on Thursday.

"Pictures don't capture the cuteness," the Minneapolis Police Department tweeted at 7:30 p.m. "Safe and dry now."

The kitten is now at Animal Care & Control for anyone wanting to adopt, police said.
